Devish Kumar
Physiotherapist and Clinic Director
Devish has been dedicated to serving the Lloydminster community as a physiotherapist since 2020, working in both private and public settings. He earned his bachelor’s degree in physical therapy from the prestigious PGIMER in Chandigarh, India, in 2018, and completed his graduate studies in Healthcare Administration in Conestoga College in 2019. Devish has pursued extensive training in various areas, including dry needling, spinal manipulation, manual therapy, TMJ treatment, and vestibular rehabilitation, and he continues to expand his expertise. He founded Axial Physio & Health Clinic with the goal of providing the highest quality care to his patients and fostering strong relationships within the community. Additionally, Devish serves as a clinical instructor for the University of Alberta, where he enjoys sharing his knowledge with new graduates and students.
Angela Leer
Physiotherapist
Angela brings to her patients a passion for orthopedic rehabilitation and 25 years Physical Therapy clinical experience. She is a Fellow in the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy and is a certified practitioner of Gunn IMS (intramuscular stimulation).
She enjoys further education opportunities and applying current treatment techniques as she helps her patients optimize musculoskeletal wellness and physical function as they recover from injury, manage chronic conditions, or work toward sport specific performance goals. Angela is also a pelvic Floor therapist who treats female pelvic floor dysfunctions .
Bri McPhie
Physiotherapist
Bri McPhie is a registered physiotherapist with over 10 years of experience serving the Lloydminster area. She holds a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta and has worked in both public and private care settings, gaining a wide range of clinical experience in that time. Bri has a special interest in chronic conditions and persistent pain, and is passionate about supporting function and mobility across the aging continuum. She takes a person-centered approach, combining education, collaboration, and evidence-based techniques to help clients achieve their goals and enhance quality of life. Bri is trained in neuroanatomical acupuncture, motor point stimulation, and therapeutic taping, and is committed to helping individuals thrive—no matter what stage of life they’re in.
Ralion Simbulan
Physiotherapist
Grew up in Lloydminster, Ralion is proud to be part of the Axial Physio team. He completed his Master of Physical Therapy at the University of Saskatchewan and is excited to serve the local community. Ralion has a particular interest in sports rehabilitation and strength-based training, and enjoys helping individuals move better, feel stronger, and return to the activities they love. Outside the clinic, he enjoys basketball, training, and playing guitar. He looks forward to serving the Lloydminster community and help people stay active, doing what they love.
Daniele Scherger
Registered Massage Therapist
Daniele has been a Massage Therapist since 2006. She graduated in 2008 from MH Vicars School of Massage. She has taken many different courses over the years. She also has special interest cupping therapy and sports massage therapy. Her interests in sport therapy took her to expand her knowledge in the sport field and take a few advanced sport therapy courses to help athletes. She is also a trainer at local gym in Lloydminster and Can-fit Pro Certified in personal training.
She enjoys her family, outdoor activities, and living a healthy happy lifestyle!
